Three different ways your stuff survives whatever happens.
01 · Scheduled backups
Backups run automatically and land on storage that isn't sitting next to your server. If something catastrophic happens to the machine you're on, your data still exists somewhere else.
02 · Snapshots
Take a snapshot before doing something risky. If it goes wrong, roll back in seconds. They're fast, they're cheap, and you'll wish more things in life had them.

03 · Encryption
Traffic to and from your account is encrypted. Storage and backups are encrypted on disk. We don't keep a plain-text copy of your stuff sitting around.
04 · Recovery
When you need it back, it's a few clicks. Pick a backup, pick a snapshot, or tell us 'restore me to this morning' and we'll do it. No phone tree, no 'submit a P1 ticket.'
Three things you can hold us to — and they're written down, not implied.
If you set a backup schedule, it runs. If we miss one, you'll see it on the service page and we'll tell you why.
You decide how long copies stick around. We don't quietly trim them to save ourselves storage.
Restores work. We test them, on real customer-shaped data, on a real schedule. If they ever don't, you'll know.
