Where the line is
The included slots are free. A second server on the same plan, or a larger plan, is billed at the standard rate — and your dashboard flags you before you get there.
Free Tier questions
Do I need a credit card?
No. You create an account and the Free Tier is on. A card is only needed when you order something beyond the allowance.
Does it expire?
There's no countdown timer. The Free Tier is experimental, so the allowance may evolve as we learn, and we'll tell you before anything changes for your account.
Is the free server slower or cut down?
No. It's the same plan, on the same hardware, in the same dashboard, with the same live chat as a paid account. The only difference is the price.
What if I want a second Minecraft server?
Order it. The included one stays free; the second is billed at the plan's standard rate, which the order page shows before you confirm.
Can I use my own domain on the free WordPress site?
Yes. Point a custom domain at it from the service page. You also get a testing URL straight away, so you can work on the site before DNS is ready.
I have an invite code — what does it do?
Enter it at signup. Invite codes can enrol you in a custom tier with different limits, and an invite always takes priority over the default Free Tier.
