Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

Ferrix Systems respects intellectual property rights and expects customers to do the same. This policy describes how we handle copyright complaints under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and similar notices worldwide. We may remove or disable access to material that appears infringing.

1. Designated agent

Send DMCA notices and counter-notifications to our designated agent at dmca@ferrix.systems (or legal@ferrix.systems if the DMCA mailbox is unavailable). Include "DMCA Notice" in the subject line.

2. Required notice contents

To be effective, a copyright complaint should include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (URL, IP, account, or hostname).
  • Your contact information (name, address, telephone, and email).
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

3. Counter-notification

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification with the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). We may restore material after the statutory waiting period unless the complainant files suit.

4. Repeat infringers

We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

5. Customers who host others' content

If you resell hosting or operate user-generated content platforms on our Services, you must maintain your own DMCA agent and takedown process as required by law, and respond promptly to notices we forward to you. Failure to comply may result in suspension of your account.

6. Non-U.S. rights holders

Rights holders outside the United States may send notices with the same identifying information. We will process reasonable requests under applicable local law and our contractual obligations.
